Hometown: Lawson, Mo.
You could say Meghann Morrow has a strong connection to the number 2.
“I come from a long line of twins: my mom is a twin, my brothers are twins, and I am a twin,” says Morrow, a senior in applied mathematics from Lawson, Mo.
Morrow says she also had two reasons for picking S&T: to have a better chance of getting hired right out of college, and to play softball. Her jersey number? No. 2 of course.
“I played three sports in high school: softball, basketball, and track and field,” she says. “I played softball for Missouri S&T for two years, and my goal is to become a high school teacher and coach softball or basketball.”
Morrow supervises the university’s intramurals program and is a past president of M Club, a service organization comprised of current S&T students.
When she’s not in class or studying, Morrow likes to gather friends for a pick-up game at the Student Rec Center or hang out at S&T’s Fitness Center, where she has worked since 2010.
“I’ve enjoyed my time here at S&T,” she says. “I love all the friends I’ve made, and all of the experiences I’ve been fortunate to have.”
